Here’s my first completed piece of 2017. This relatively quick project was created on a new digital painting application I’ve found called Krita. It’s an open source program, and so far I really like what it has to offer. I hope to be creating many more pieces this year! Thanks for looking.
Another digital illustration from my Wild Friends collection. Available from Cafe Press.
A random tree from a walk in the woods in southern Ohio.
This ocean dweller is part of my Wild Friends collection. I really hope to get back to this collection with more cute animal illustrations! This image is available on some gift items at Cafe Press.
Another early digital painting for me.
This is from the Niagara River, above the falls (I think). A shot from a beautiful day.
Dedicated to a dear friend. Available at Cafe Press.
The original photo for this piece was from a hike through the woods at Grand Tetons National Park during a family vacation in 2008. I just love the play of light and shadow on the water as it winds its way through the trees in the forest. Available at Redbubble.
Here’s a cute fella from my Wild Friends collection. This cuddly blue bear was actually a bit of an experiment in trying a new illustration style. This is an entirely digital composition. The cute guy is available on some gift items at Cafe Press.
Oil on canvas. I like elephants, and here’s a painting of one! I actually painted this in 2008 to hang on a specific spot on my wall. It’s still there, just above my computer (with the rest of my elephant collection).
